i AM SO NERVOUS THAT i COULDNT BREATHE AND i \HAD TO TAKE A WALK AND NOW i AM STRETCHING AND i CANT CATCH MY BREATH. tHIS IS THE HARDEST THING EVER. sOMEONE TOLD ME THE HARDEST THING WOULD BE FOR ME TO START BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE. tHE FIRST TIME i RAN/WALKED WAS EASY COMPARED TO THIS. I AM SERIOUS THAT i CANT HARDLY BREATHE. I HAVE ALMOST GONE INTO FULL BLOWN ANXIETY ATTACKS THREE TIMES IN THA LAST HOUR. IT IS A GOOD THING MY THERAPIST TAUGHT ME HOW TO BREATHE THROUGH IT BEFORE IT GETS TOO BAD. I AM HOPING THIS IS THE WORST OF THE NERVOUSNESS. I WILL HAVE MY PARENTS THE AND CRIS AND SO I AM HOPING THEY CAN HELP CALM ME DOWN BUT SO FAR THEY ARE NO GOOD. OH MY GOSH I AM TYPING IN CAPS AND DIDNT NOTICE. SORRY. I CAN DO THIS! gOD WILL BE WITH ME! HE IS WITH ME! I COULDNT GET A HOLD OF MY SISTERS FOR SUPPORT SO I HAD TO PRAY WHILE I WAS WALKING. NORMALLY STRETCHING AND WALKING HELP ME TO RELAX BUT THAT IS JUST NOT THE CASE. I HOPE I REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GET THERE. HOW I FEEL IN THE RACE. OH MY GOODNESS...............

When I did my 5 K I was nervous too. I even had bad dreams the night before, but remember. Lots of people are running of all different levels. Some people will go super fast, some will walk to whole way. The important thing is just to try and finish. Don't try to be too fast, just finish. Finishing is such a huge accomplishment and you are going to feel awesome afterwards. Remember you have to breath in order to do it so start breathing now. Good luck
So I'm excited to hear about the race. On another note-check out your family picture on your sidebar-there is obviously a no smoking sign in the picture, but all you can see is the "smoking" part-I thought it might give you a laugh. You are a smoking hot family!
